1 Piece of news:

Is not the latest news but the tour is kind of on pause this time of the year so we are talking about Jon Rahm moving to LIV Tour.

Do we like his decision as golf fans? No

Do we understand him? I mean, 300 million dollars is pretty convincing.

Are we going to watch LIV because of him? Of course not.

With Rahm still waiting for his team just a month before the tour kicks off, the anticipation builds regarding his potential partners. However, regardless of the pairings, my decision stands firm – I won't be tuning in to watch the tour.

1 opinion:

LIV's big problem is that when everyone is winning big, the tournaments lose their edge. It gets kind of dull to watch when players aren't worried about losing their spots.

But, here's a silver lining: LIV's format is something players dig. It's flexible and could give the PGA Tour a boost in the spotlight. And let's be real, the PGA Tour is all about its players doing their thing.

1 piece of advice:

Count your steps with every putt. At first, you might wonder how to match your backswing with a specific number of steps. It might seem puzzling initially, but with practice, it becomes second nature, creating a mental database that proves incredibly helpful over time. Always factor in the terrain – if it's a bit uphill, adjust your step count accordingly (maybe aim for 12 instead of 10).

1 Golf Course:

In this first post of course we are mentioning my hometown course:

Cordoba Golf Club.

Look from the 9th hole at Cordoba Golf Club, Villa Allende, Cordoba, Argentina

An English-style course with over 100 years of history from Villa Allende in Cordoba, Argentina where stars like Angel Cabrera (Masters and U.S Open champion) and Eduardo “Gato” Romero (U.S Senior Open champion) were born.

It’s a par 72 course with 4 par 5s, 4 par 3s and 10 par 4s.

The course is a short one, with the following yardages for different levels:

  • White tees length (17-36 hcp): 6053 yards

  • Blue tees length (10 - 16 hcp): 6503 yards

  • Black tees length (0-9 hcp): 6878 yards

  • Red Tees length (Women all handicaps): 5528 yards

It’s a fun and extremely well-maintained course.

Even Sam Snead once won here.

If you ever plan a visit to Cordoba, Argentina this is one of the many courses you should try.

1 piece of equipment:

Club cleaner with water

Golf Club Cleaner

You first fill it with water and attach it to your bag.

After every shot, you press the brush against the club face, squeeze the bottle, and easily clean your clubs.

This not only assists in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of your entire golf bag but also ensures that the club grinds remain free from dust or dirt, contributing to improved shot control and precision.
